Ornaments....
Painting glass ornaments was a bit of a challenge for me....as I like solid color!! So I coated the inside of the glass ornaments with paint to give me the effect that I needed to be inspired!! Although it was difficult to paint on the glass I had a lot of fun doing these whimsical one of a kind ornaments for an after Christmas celebration!!Step outside your comfort zone and try something NEW today....It just might make you smile!!

Color that Tote!!!
I have been commissioned to make a tote for a little girl as a gift....Now, we all know that I do not sew and usually get my sister to help me with this type of projects....But while shopping I found this wonderful HOT PINK tote bag..(perfect for the little girl in all of us!) and I brought it home and began to design a coloring page ....Not only will this little girl get a tote to carry her shoes to school in...custom designed JUST FOR HER!! but she will get to make it her own by using fabric pens to color it in!! NOW JUST HOW FUN IS THAT!!!! I had great fun with this tote adding a little bling embellishment to the top ...I am now dreaming of other designs for kids and of course adults alike!! Fun for anyone from 2 to 92!! LOLArtfully Yours,

Christmas Gift Giving...
My niece is a BIG fan of turtles...I found a tin sea turtle wall sculpture at Pier One....When I started it was just plain tin...old looking and weathered....Using several colors of metallic paint I transformed it into a sea turtle with life....I originally thought that she could put this out by her pool...but she loves it so much she has decided to place it on the bathroom wall....I had a great deal of fun...reminds me of the turtle from FINDING NEMO!!Artfully Yours,

Commissioned step stool
These pictures are of a commissioned step stool that I just finished for delivery!! Adorable little Imani (her name means FAITH) won't use this for several years...It has a Kwanzaa theme....just right to celebrate the birthof a new little one to grace us...

A "tote" collaboration....
My sister and I collaborated on the making of this tote bag! I wanted to be able to carry a mandala affirmation with me at all times...a reminder of sorts...(From the Inside Out) but I do not sew!! I am fortunate to have a sister that does however...(we each have our talents!!) So, I painted my affirmation...and my sister made it into a tote bag!! I am loving this....and think that it just might be some of the finest work the two of us have done together...So in this case TWO HEADS ARE BETTER THAN ONE!!Artfully Yours,

Gracing the pages of...
I have the extreme honor of gracing the pages of both of these publications from Stampington in the November issues. I have 2 separate pieces in Altered Couture...a jean jacket and a how to give your shoes a new soul article. WORKING ON IT!!!
These are some GIRLS I have been working on....I am taking an online class with the FABULOUS and GENEROUS Suzi Blu...If you have ever wanted to learn how to make the faces she is so FAMOUS for...it is well worth the small amount she charges!! Anyhow, these girls are made out of canvas and then pieced together like a paper doll....There is more to come as they are not done playing with my MUSE yet!!! I will post them when they are complete..but wanted to show you what I have been UP TO!! This summer has been a bit different for me...I have been traveling every month so that has taken creative time in a different direction...and I am dealing with some home issues that need my attention....but I am creating...I am following my bliss...I just finished an online class with the wonderful Judith Cornell about mandala healing (which is another of my passions) So, today...I wish you all pretty girls and happy days!!Artfully Yours,
