These are two mixed media paintings that I did for 2 sisters who send the most amazing daily messages to my IN box!! I wanted to express to them how much they mean to me! Each of the sayings came from something they said separately on their bio page. Each painting was done on a 8 by 10 flat canvas with a 5 by 7 canvas placed on top....the bird was painted with acrylic and H2O paint....torn paper...and ribbon....glass heart and metal heart....the bird was cut out of 120 stock water color paper and then 3-D on the smaller canvas over lapping onto the bigger on...the background is handmade paper.
