I am honored to have a 3 page spread on HOW TO make the Mandala Tote that my sister(Press HERE for the link to see the tote!) and I collaborated on in this issue....I have never submitted to this magazine before and so when my brain storm was received and acknowledged I was over joyed....You can purchase this magazine at Barnes and Nobel or order it directly from Stampington....there are SO MANY wonderful things to make in this issue....Where does a girl start?!?!?

Random Acts of Kindness...

A call went out from a group that I am on for Angel Paper Dolls to donate to people in need of a little TLC.....So this is the paper doll I made...She is made from 140 wt water color paper which I doubled and glued together....Antique lace was added to her dress...along with jewels ...Her wings are stationary, but her arms are hinged and move....She can hang freely as she is painted on both sides.....The message that I get when seeing this angel is to hand her your heart when you are in need or hurt and she will gently hold it in your hands to help you heal.....
I am honored to be part of this project....Off she went to the hostess in Canada today!

mandala painting...

I was asked by an online friend to make a mandala for her...she like all of us, struggles with the balance of our lives....This little painting is what appeared to me for her....and the message it brings reminds us and I hope her to always look to the sun for warmth for our self...and to listen closely to the song in her heart....I know I need to be reminded of this...even on a good day!

Cool Collie Shoes....

I love these little Chinese coolie shoes.....So guess what?!?!? I just had to alter them!! What fun! Can't wait to wear them....and give the snakes and snails (no puppy dog tails!) to my grandson!!!
